Ziad Al-Tunisi has been reappointed as non-executive Chairman of Arabian International Healthcare Holding Co., known as Tibbiyah, following the company's April 5 board meeting, with the role effective through the completion of a three-year term. Khalid Al Anazi, a physician with three decades of clinical hematology experience, was appointed as independent Vice Chairman. The reshuffling of Tibbiyah's leadership structure marks a continued emphasis on healthcare sector expertise as the Saudi-based company navigates its transition as a publicly listed entity on the Saudi Exchange parallel market.

The newly elected board constituted a separate nomination and remuneration committee and designated company representatives before regulatory authorities, according to disclosures filed with the Capital Market Authority and Saudi Tadawul Group. The appointments come as the board prepares to complete the establishment of an audit committee at a later stage. No search firm involvement was disclosed in connection with the appointments. Al-Tunisi's reappointment represents continuity in leadership, having held the Chairman position since 2021, while Al Anazi's appointment introduces operational medical credibility to the oversight structure through his tenure at King Fahad Specialist Hospital.

Al-Tunisi, 48, serves as Group Chief Executive Officer of the Al Faisaliah Group, Tibbiyah's parent company, a role he has held since 2017. He joined Al Faisaliah in 1998 as Corporate Treasurer, advancing to Chief Financial and Investment Officer in 2002 and to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer by 2008. During his tenure in finance and operations, he orchestrated multiple merger and acquisition transactions and established the group's internal audit, risk management, and investment functions. He also holds board positions across Saudi financial and healthcare sectors, including directorship at Saudi National Bank and chairmanships at Al Safi Danone and Nuwa Capital. Al-Tunisi holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from King Saud University and a master's degree in International Securities, Investment and Banking from the University of Reading.

Al Anazi has spent over 30 years in adult clinical hematology and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation across major Saudi healthcare institutions including King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh and King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Dammam, where he served as department chairman from 2015 to 2021. He trained in clinical hematology at King's College Hospital, University of London. He established the adult stem cell transplantation program at King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Dammam in 2010 and has authored over 150 publications in oncology and stem cell research. His appointment as Vice Chairman adds clinical depth to board governance during a period when Saudi Arabia prioritizes healthcare modernization.

Tibbiyah, a subsidiary of the diversified Al Faisaliah Group, operates as a leading integrated healthcare solutions provider in the Kingdom, having celebrated over 50 years of healthcare operations since founding its flagship medical systems company in 1973. The company listed on the Saudi Exchange parallel market (Nomu) in January 2026 at a price range of 74 to 82 riyals per share, and operates three main operational arms comprising Al Faisaliah Medical Systems, International Medical Supplies, and a 50-50 joint venture with Philips Healthcare Saudi Arabia. Recent growth initiatives include joint ventures with BGI Genomics for advanced clinical laboratory services and a 57 million dollar acquisition of a controlling stake in Innovative Care medical centers. The reappointment and appointment signal management confidence in executing this expansion strategy through stable leadership continuity, while Al Anazi's clinical stature may reflect Tibbiyah's intent to deepen its positioning in specialized healthcare services as competition intensifies in Saudi Arabia's rapidly evolving sector.
