Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber

Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber is the Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and the UAE's Special Envoy for Climate Change. Born on August 31, 1973, in Abu Dhabi, Al Jaber holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California (1997), an MBA from California State University, Los Angeles (2001), and a Ph.D. in Economics from Coventry University (2007).

In 2013, Al Jaber was appointed an honorary Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
