Saeed Mohammed Alghamdi

Saeed Mohammed Alghamdi was appointed Chairman of the Board of Jabal Omar Development Company (JODC) effective June 30, 2021, for an initial three-year term. His leadership positions include Chairman of Jabal Omar Development Company, a major Saudi real estate developer, and Manga Productions, while also serving as a board member of the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation.

Al Ghamdi ranked #24 in Gulf Business's 100 Most Powerful Arabs listing for 2024. He received his undergraduate degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.

Career History

• Commenced professional journey in 1987 with the Ministry of Defense and Aviation
• Served as Chief Information Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and General Manager of the Retail Banking Group at Al Rajhi Bank, eventually becoming Executive Vice President
• Headed the team that established Al Rajhi Bank in Malaysia and the bank's branches in Kuwait and Jordan
• Appointed Chief Executive Officer of National Commercial Bank (NCB) effective January 3, 2013
• Appointed Managing Director and CEO of the merged Saudi National Bank (formed from NCB and Samba Financial Group)
• Appointed Chairman of Saudi National Bank in May 2024
