Octavio Marquez

Octavio Marquez was elected to the MSA Safety Board of Directors in July 2026, adding his extensive executive leadership experience to the global industrial safety leader. As President and CEO of Diebold Nixdorf, Marquez brings experience in strategy development, capital allocation, business transformation, and serving international markets.

Marquez holds a bachelor's degree in business and finance from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and has completed executive education programs at MIT Sloan, The Wharton School, and the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds a certificate in Corporate Strategy from MIT and has completed the Business Bridge Program at Dartmouth College.
