Zain reported 50.9 million active customers as at 31 December 2025.

As at 2024 its two largest shareholders were Omantel, with 21.9 percent, and the Kuwait Investment Authority, with 15.9 percent. The group operates both mature Gulf markets and higher-growth African operations, and has pursued digital services and fintech alongside its core mobile business.
