Wassim Karkabi is a Founder, CEO, Non-Executive Director & Investor. He is passionate about the confluence between people and technology, and specializes in matters of Governance, Leadership, Culture and Business Growth with more than 20 years of experience in working with organizations to help figure our and implement strategic and operational solutions in those areas.
Wassim Karkabi is a Shareholder, Founder & CEO in a number of businesses including Stanton Chase, Global Board Institute, The Culture Factor, Board Nominate, Fluent XP, Coaching Loft, Data Slot, Spantrek and Ekuiplus, in addition to other investments in startups and scale-ups.
Over the past 20 years, he has worked with countless Founders, Boards, and C-Suite Teams to help setup optimum governance, leadership teams and organizational cultures that enable business growth.
Wassim started his first company back in 1997, the first ever retained executive search firm to be based out of Lebanon, focused on identifying, assessing and onboarding Lebanese and Jordanian C-Suite talent in organizations based in the Gulf, working with clients in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Kuwait.
He exited his shares in CareerTrak to a Qatari Investor and moved on to partner with Ghassan Chartouni in the year 2000 to create "Music Is My Life" which back then, become the first ever organization to manage the business affairs and careers of celebrity talent in Lebanon.
Keeping an eye out on bigger markets and following the economic and political disasters that hit Lebanon after the death of Prime Minister Rafic Al Hariri, he decided to move to the UAE in 2005 at the first opportunity. Dubai bound for a General Manager role in a Trading and Publishing company, in September 2005, he sold his shares in Music Is My Life, and set out to a new life. After a short stint with the small trading company, he got the opportunity to become a Partner at Stanton Chase for the Middle East region, in May 2007 which brought him back full circle to working again with the Board & C-Suite industry.
Fast forward to 2025, Wassim Karkabi now has designed an interesting network of businesses that synergize together to grow, all centered around catering to the two most senior levels of businesses (Founders, CEOs, Boards and C-Suites), bringing people and technology solutions together to make people and organizations more effective.
I believe in the confluence of people and technology. I don't think that the future world is either going to be AI or HI. I see that there will be a bonding of the two into a singular being that may have a spectrum of degrees of Humanity and Technology.
