Christoph Antz

Christoph Antz, Ph.D., is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of VERAXA Biotech AG (NASDAQ: VRXA). He is an experienced company executive and former venture capital manager in the fields of life sciences with special focus on drug development (small molecules and biologicals), diagnostics and instrumentation. Under his leadership, VERAXA has made substantial progress in its pipeline and partnering strategy, with BiTAC molecules expected to dominate the company's pipeline development efforts and mature to be the main value drivers.

He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Heidelberg and did postdocteral studies at the University Of California, San Francisco. His early career included founding Otogene AG and serving as Founding Partner at EMBL Ventures GmbH from 2003 to 2009, positioning him at the intersection of academic innovation and venture capital in biotech.
