Standard Chartered has expanded Mazen Barbir's responsibilities to include Head of Markets, UAE, adding to his role as Managing Director and Head of FX Trading for the UAE, Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan, according to a press release.
Barbir, who joined the bank in 2007, has spent 17 years at Standard Chartered, progressing through roles such as desk head, managing director and regional business head.
