Per Narvinger

Per Narvinger has been appointed President and CEO of Ericsson effective October 1, 2026, replacing Börje Ekholm who stepped down on September 30, 2026. Born in 1974, Narvinger holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden, with graduate studies at Stanford University. He joined Ericsson in 1997 and has spent his entire professional career at the company.

Narvinger brings broad experience from different areas of the telecoms and ICT industry, including research and standardization, development, product management, and sales. He has worked across a wide variety of roles encompassing research and standardisation, development, product management and sales, and worked in various leadership roles where he has engaged with key customers globally, including long-term assignments in Australia and Spain.

• Head of Business Area Cloud Software and Services (2022-2025)
• Head of Product Area Networks, responsible for network systems, wireless infrastructure, radio software and hardware for 2G to 5G, cloud-native RAN, indoor and transport portfolios (prior to 2022)
• Head of Ericsson in Northern and Central Europe, managing 2,000 employees serving customers in 16 countries (prior role)
• Roles in research, standardization, development, product management, and sales throughout his Ericsson tenure since 1997
