David Rio joined Beecher Reagan as Managing Director in June 2026, strengthening the firm's capabilities in consulting and technology-enabled services recruitment. Rio brings over 25 years of executive search expertise, with extensive experience identifying and recruiting transformational leaders across professional services, software, technology, and private equity sectors.

Rio's career reflects a unique blend of internal corporate talent leadership and external executive search advisory. He spent nearly seven years at PwC co-leading the Experienced Hire recruiting function for their Consulting business, hiring Direct Admit Partners and Managing Directors. For over four years at HIEC, a European-headquartered executive search firm, he was instrumental in building the U.S. business and led mandates bringing significant growth across professional services, software, technology, and private equity clients.

Rio holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from DePaul University. Throughout his career, he has conducted searches for CFO, CTO/CIO/CISO, Chief Growth Officer, CRO/CCO/Head of Sales positions, as well as Partners, Managing Directors, and their reports.
