Kuah Kok Kim

Kuah Kok Kim possesses extensive business experience accumulated through decades of involvement in marine logistics and oil and gas industries. He was re-designated from Non-Executive to Executive Chairman on October 1, 2025, in recognition of his expanded role and significant contributions to MTQ Corporation Limited.

Kuah built his career foundation by selling a marine transportation business to Pan Electric in the 1980s for shares, then invested in various ventures in the late 1980s and 1990s, including managing a business in Australia. He subsequently acquired shares in Metalock, the predecessor of MTQ Corporation, ultimately building a significant 25.5% stake that positioned him to lead a board restructuring during the 1997 Asian financial crisis.
