Iskandar Najjar

Iskandar Najjar co-founded Equiti Group in 2017 with Mohammed AlAhmad Ketmawi, establishing the firm to deliver trading technology and financial services to historically underserved markets worldwide. As Group CEO, Najjar focuses on propelling growth through agile tech solutions and a regulation-first mindset, emphasizing innovation alongside regulatory compliance.

An industry veteran with nearly two decades of experience in the global financial markets, Najjar has built a distinguished track record in FX and CFD leadership. His prior roles include positions at Barclays UK, Managing Director of ADS Securities EMEA, and CEO of Alpari ME—which he steered to become the foremost FX firm in the Middle East. Najjar holds an MBA from London Business School.

Under Najjar's leadership, Equiti Group has rapidly expanded operations across the UAE, UK, Jordan, Seychelles, Armenia, and Cyprus, becoming one of the top 15 brokers globally in terms of monthly trading volume. Notable achievements include being the first specialized global brokerage to receive a license from Jordan's Securities Commission in over a decade and the first non-dealing online FX broker licensed by Kenya's Capital Markets Authority. Najjar also serves as Director of the Board at D2A2, the Dubai Digital Asset Association.
