Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has named Basit Saiyed its new Head of Wealth Management.
Prior to ADIB, Saiyed spent the bulk of his career at HSBC, working in various roles. Most recently, he was the Head of Investments and Wealth Solutions, MENAT, for its global private banking and wealth unit for four years. He has also held roles with the wealth and personal banking as well as the retail banking and wealth management divisions. Saiyed was also an equities derivatives manager at Mashreq Bank.
Saiyed’s appointment follows that of Dubai-based Gaurav Dixit, who joined ADIB last April as Head of Wealth Products, Portfolio and Proposition from Rakbank.
