Rothschild has set up a wealth management office in Dubai to expand its offerings, amid the string of other banks growing their wealth management offerings in the region.
The firm will add locally-based advisers, supported by their Geneva-based Middle East team. The new Dubai office is led by Sascha Benz, Head of Wealth Management for the Middle East. He relocated from the bank’s Switzerland office to take the position.
The new office will serve ultra-high net worth families, charities and foundations, and is already fully operational, according to a 19 Nov release.
The new office is located in the DIFC and operates under a DFSA Category 4 licence.
