First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) plans to appoint Omar Hafeez Citi’s head of North Africa, Levant, and Central Asia, as head of its international franchise, Bloomberg has reported, citing anonymous sources. Hafeez has held various leadership roles at Citi, working in countries including Pakistan, Nigeria, and Japan. His experience spans multiple aspects of corporate banking and regional management.
This is the latest in a series of hires, FAB was also reportedly hiring Former Citigroup Vice Chairman and Managing Director Linos Lekkas.
