BNY Wealth has promoted Shadi Alnasr, its client strategist to Market President for the Middle East region.
Shadi has taken up the new role, in a move that BNY Wealth said signals its commitment to deepening its presence in the region. In the new role, Alnasr will be responsible for the strategic expansion of BNY Wealth’s Middle East franchise, focusing on the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
‘The Middle East represents a key growth market for BNY Wealth, driven by intergenerational wealth transfer and the rise of family offices,’ Alnasr said. ‘As wealth structures become more sophisticated, families are institutionalizing their wealth management strategies.’
His immediate team includes client strategists Mehreen Nadir and Yasser Khan and Sales Associate Sara Haddad. Alnasr and his team are based in Dubai.
