Al Masraf have hired Moataz Khalil is the Chief Wholesale Banking Officer where he leads the bank's wholesale banking division. His role involves delivering innovative, tailored financial solutions to corporate clients, enhancing client satisfaction, and driving business growth.
He has over 25 years of diverse banking experience in the region with International and regional institutions. Moataz was previously Managing Director & The Global Head for the Diversified Industrials Sector - Investment Banking Group at First Abu Dhabi Bank. He was responsible for overall management of FAB’s Global Diversified Industrials portfolio, including aviation, transportation & logistics, telecoms, real estate, trading & manufacturing companies.
Prior to this he was leading the Corporate & Investment Banking business in Egypt and, more recently, held the role of interim Country CEO. Before this he held roles at Barclays in Egypt.
Moataz holds an MBA from Manchester Business School, U.K and a Bank Management Diploma from The Graduate School of Banking Wisconsin in the USA.
