First Abu Dhabi Bank has appointed Ahmed Hashem as Senior Executive Officer of FAB ADGM.
Ahmed joins from HSBC where he spent his entire 20 year career, latterly as Head of Coverage, Abu Dhabi - Global Banking & Markets. He led and managed a team responsible for covering sovereign wealth Funds, government-related entities, financial sponsors, and regional conglomerates.
He has experience leading coverage platforms and managing multi-billion-dollar portfolios across global markets with his expertise spanning strategic transactions, M&A advisory, debt and equity capital markets, and sustainable finance, delivering tailored financial solutions to governments, corporates, sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), and financial sponsors across the UAE and the broader Middle East.
