KPMG has announced the strategic hiring of Damian Grice as the new Partner and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its Lower Gulf operations. This appointment is part of an ongoing enhancement of KPMG’s senior leadership structure and reflects the firm's commitment to excellence and growth in the region.
Damian Grice comes to KPMG with a distinguished 22-year career in leadership, primarily within professional and financial services. Since relocating to the UAE in 2013, he has become a well-known figure in the financial sector, previously holding COO and executive roles at prominent institutions like First Abu Dhabi Bank and Greenstone Equity Partners.
His career prior to moving to the UAE included significant roles in London, where he served as Chief of Staff for the Global COO at Barclays Bank and as Global Head of Innovation for the Corporate Bank. His early career was defined by impactful contributions to Banking and Capital Markets groups at leading London consultancies.
