Stuart Miller

Overview

Stuart Miller is Executive Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Lennar Corporation and a member of the company's Board of Directors. He joined Lennar more than 40 years ago and has held numerous leadership roles across the company's Homebuilding Division and former Investment and Commercial Properties Division.

Born in 1957, Miller holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard University (BS, 1979) and a law degree from the University of Miami (JD, 1982). As the son of Lennar's cofounder Leonard Miller, Miller grew up in 1960s Miami watching his father's business grow. At age 11 Miller began mowing the lawns of Lennar's model houses, and by his teens was working odd jobs around Lennar's construction sites to save money.

The 2018 merger with CalAtlantic Group solidified Lennar's position as the largest homebuilder in the United States, boasting $27.1 billion in revenue in 2021. Miller was named one of America's Most Powerful People by Forbes in 2000.
