John Bevan

John Bevan brings over three decades of experience and a deep-rooted passion for travel to his role as CEO of dnata Travel Group. He attended business school in France and initially wanted to pursue the hotel and catering industry. In 1987, he began his career in the travel industry, starting in the hotel sector before moving into tour operations.

From 2004 to 2008, he was managing director consumer brands at lastminute.com, one of the pioneers in online travel agencies in the UK. He then founded an online business called bookthat.com with a friend, which aggregated villas for rental and grew to 1.2 million members with £17 million in turnover. After his stint at Voyage Privé, where he served as MD, he spent time in the wellness sector in Miami.
