HSBC has promoted Mohammed Fannouch as Co-head of Capital Markets and Advisory (CMA) for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (MENAT), according to a statement. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he will lead the CMA business alongside UAE-based Samer Deghaili.
Fannouch has over 20 years of investment banking experience. He joined HSBC in 2008 and was most recently the Co-head of its investment banking franchise in Saudi Arabia.
The MENAT CMA leadership is now based in two key financial hubs, the UAE and Saudi Arabia and better placed to partner with clients and support them as they navigate the region's growth potential, said Adam Bagshaw, HSBC's global CMA head.
